Tarifs and FAQ. Of course we all want to know how much a service costs but there are plenty of other questions we may have. I am an independent nanny which means the only fees you will pay as a family are for my services. There are no registration fees or placement fees.
As every family has different requirements then I try to adapt my tariff depending on the number of hours/days/children of the booking.
The basic rate can be negotiated for bookings of a week or longer where a price for the booking term can be agreed.
There will be a minimum booking fee of €120 or three hours plus travel costs.
Cancellation policy- in the high season (July/August) bookings cancelled less than a week before will charged at half the total fee and bookings cancelled less than 24 hours will be charged the full booking cost.
Of course, as parents, we have many questions about who cares for our children and how they are looked after. Below are the answers to some of these questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch for any other queries.
Yes! Of course,if you wish, it is possible to see written references from some of my previous employers or to be in touch with them directly.
I already work with several repeat clients, which is something I love to do
I just have a basic landing page. I don’t think its necessary for Your French Riviera Nanny to have its own social media pages with constant photo posting. Everyone has the right to a private life and the last thing you want to worry about on holiday is finding pictures of your children online.
I can provide a large variety of activities, from swimming or trips to the beach to reading, crafting or cooking. I am available to accompany you as a family on a day out or to be left with full charge of the children. I’m a strong swimmer so confident with children in the water which usually a big part of holidays. According to your wishes I can arrange to bring other games, paint, play-doh etc.
As early as you want! As I work alone, once I am booked, I’m booked so its best to get in touch as soon as possible for the high season.
Yes, I have the French equivalent of a background check, a bulletin de casier judiciaire, which can be provided on request.
The areas I cover are; Cannes, Mougins, Valbonne, Antibes, Juan-les-Pins, Théoule-sur-Mer, Agay/St Raphaël, Saint-Tropez, Sainte-Maxime, Ramatuelle, Gassin, La Croix Valmer, Grimaud/Port Grimaud.
Other areas are also considered on a case by case basis.
Once you have made an enquiry then I will get back to you ASAP. We can then arrange for a call or video call if you prefer to enable us to get to know each other a little and define exactly what you are looking for. It’s also possible to see references at this stage.
Once everything is decided I will send you a booking confirmation.
Plans can change, planes can be delayed, the weather can be unpredictable. Of course I understand this. All that I ask is that you keep me informed to any changes once your booking is confirmed.
You will be invoiced at the end of the booking.
English is my native language but after many years in France I am also bilingual in French. I can also speak some Spanish and Dutch and a little Italian and German.
